Look to The Stars Productions
Who are we?
Look to the Stars Productions is a Non-for-Profit organization designed by young professionals to lift up and amplify the voices of underserved communities through storytelling. As firm believers that art can change the world, we are committed to making productions accessible to all. The stories we bring to life feature strong female characters and explore themes such as mental health, neurodiversity, and the many forms of family— both biological and chosen.
Our attention is focused on new projects— both plays and musicals. We are devoted to sparking new conversations, bringing authenticity to the forefront, and not only shedding a light on topics that we feel deserve more attention, but bringing them straight into the spotlight and center stage.
How Did We Get Here?
In 2022, Founder Rebecca Lynn Goldfarb wrote her first play.
“When my family and I went through an experience that almost took our lives, and I faced the effects of PTSD, I wondered, 'How could five people share one moment in time yet each of them process it differently?'
That question was one that inspired me. ” ~ Rebecca Lynn Goldfarb
Since then, Rebecca has gone on to write numerous plays, musicals, and screenplays that captivate raw and thought provoking moments that she genuinely experienced in her life.
Through Look to the Stars Productions, the goal is to not only create art that shares narratives that paint images of life at its truest form for all people to relate to, but it is also meant to inspire others, portray stories that resonate with audiences, and bring forth a change in this world to help it heal and become a better place.
